Meet the Ambassadors
Our incredible animals—ranging from mammals and birds to reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates—connect you to the wonders of wildlife. Many come from shelters and rescues, receiving a second chance at life while educating our community. Through these animals, we aim to inspire a deeper understanding and appreciation for wildlife
We hold all necessary permits, and our ambassadors receive top-notch care, with regular inspections by various agencies to ensure their well-being.
Our Birds
Blizzard has been with us since 2011. Despite losing sight in one eye, he’s thriving at 25! He enjoys a good breakfast of mice and loves joining our instructors on walks and programs.
Archimedes, our Eastern screech-owl, joined us in 2014 after an accident left him unable to fly. With his signature look, he’s a reminder that owls don’t quite translate human expressions!
Our tiny kestrel loves a good snack and has a superpower—she can keep her head perfectly still while her body moves. She’s as curious as she is cute!
Meet Pidge, our playful pigeon who thinks she's one of us! She loves splashing in her water bowl and will show you just how fun it is to be a little different.
Small and Fuzzy
Bucky was adopted in May 2018 and has become a star in our programs. He’s great with audiences of all sizes and loves being petted. When not in programs, he enjoys playing with toys and tearing up paper towel rolls!
Cottonball was adopted due to his first owner's allergies. This albino rabbit has striking white fur and pink eyes. He often hangs out next to his older “brother,” Bucky.
