Looking for an extracurricular activity to come to your facility? Look no further! Echoes of Nature presents fun-filled, live animal oriented programs that are sure to be entertainingly educational. We accommodate the full spectrum of care from independent living to nursing care, including memory care. We make Environmental Education engaging and fun for all ages.

January: Animals in Art through History
Explore the history of animal art that used different media and resources that would have been available. To understand how the perception of animals has changed overtime as a result of natural art.

Love is in the Air
Theme: February is the time to think of Valentines, cupids, chocolate, flowers and love. In the animal world, “love” has many strategies as the goal is totally reproduction and the continuation of the next generation.

March: Animals Around the World, Dr. Suess Style
Objective: to “travel” around the world and see up close animals from different continents from the world of Dr. Suess. Make a point of asking where people have traveled or would like to travel either for fun or work. Ask what books are their favorites.

April: Animals in Science
What’s happening in science or technology today in relation to animals?

May: Desert Safari
Objective: What adaptations do desert animals need in order to survive? If we really were taking a trip to the desert, what supplies would we need?

June: I have my eyes on you
Theme: Who uses their eyes to stay safe? Or to find food? Let meet a few of these extraordinary visual animals and see how they do it

July: Animal Incognito
Many animals are masters of disguises. People are pretty good at it too, but we learned it from the animals by watching and learning about them. Let’s explore the world of color warning, camouflage and chemical defense and meet a few of these masters.

August: Amazing Adaptations!
Theme: What helps an animal climb, fly, live in the water or live on land? Will those adaptations help that animal in a different habitat? Learn how amazing adaptations help an animal survive! Join us as we learn about some animal ambassadors’ amazing adaptations and transform some of our audience.

September: Native American Animal Stories
Theme: Join us as we share a few Native American animal stories. Meet and learn about the animal characters of these stories.

October: Creepy Crawlies
Theme: What animals are scary to you? Why do certain animals frighten people? Let’s take a look at some of these animals and discover reasons why they are more friend than foe.

November: Endangered/ Threatened Species
Objective: to observe and learn about some endangered or threatened animal species from our animal ambassadors from around the world.

December: Movie Goof ups
Objective: Taking a look at some movies/TV programs with animals and aside from the talking cartoons, are the animals portrayed with any accuracy? What do the movie/TV makers do to the animals to make them seem so bad? What interesting facts about the animals that are real that make them special?
